Established in August 1973 by the late Walter Kazala-Laski, a Polish descendant who made Zambia his home, Mining Haulage Company Limited has grown into a cornerstone of Zambia's mining industry. In 1994, Richard Kazala-Laski took over as Managing Director, transforming MHL into a specialized trucking business focused on mining materials transportation.

Under Richard's leadership, MHL has specialized in transporting copper concentrates, copper oxide, crushed aggregates, and lime, marking remarkable growth over the past decades with invaluable industry experience.
